Overview

Performs full life cycle of Federal Staffing functions applying OPM Qualifications Standards, rules and regulations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develops vacancy announcements and maintains accurate case files in automated staffing tool.
  • Evaluates applicant qualifications; develops selection certificates.
  • Adjudicates veteran’s preference and other hiring preferences and priorities.
  • Assure regulatory compliance regarding a myriad of talent acquisition issues.
  • Codes Staffing portions of Personnel Actions/SF-52 equivalent documents.
  • Develops and maintains client relationships.
  • May prepare activity reports.
  • Reviews work of peers and junior staff.
  • May serve as SME for Staffing actions and on special projects.
  • May review and approve work.
  • Conducts job analysis and qualifications assessments tools.
  • Develops and implements talent acquisition program process improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Utilize productivity management applications, such as ServiceNow, to track work, document processing efforts and outcomes, and communicate with customers throughout processing efforts.
  • Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements associated with assigned work area.

 

Qualifications

  • Six years specialized experience performing Federal Staffing and Talent Acquisition duties and functions.
  • 3 years’ experience with automated staffing tools
  • Demonstrated experience solving complex Federal Staffing related issues
  • Proficiency to perform assigned work in both an automated and non-automated state.
  • Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status or obtain an approved accommodation request (as required by law) within 30 days of employment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree desired.
  • DEU Certification desired.
  • DEU Training and certification may be provided.
  • Experience using productivity management tools to manage and complete work.
  • Experience supporting system enhancement efforts associated with assigned work area.
