Overview

Performs a myriad of Federal HR Talent Acquisition program support functions.  Assists with Administration and day-to-day operations such as document processing, applicant and new hire notifications, and document and records management to support the full Talent Acquisition life cycle process.

Responsibilities

Performs some or all the duties below: 

  • Works with automated HR systems.
  • Makes job offers and schedules onboarding activities.
  • Coordinates security, fingerprinting, drug testing and new hire and onboarding activities.
  • Works closely with Staffing and Classification Specialists to track work in progress.
  • Manages automated databases.
  • Compiles files and transmits documents.
  • Utilize productivity management applications, such as ServiceNow, to track work, document processing efforts and outcomes, and communicate with customers throughout processing efforts.
  • Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements associated with assigned work area.

Qualifications

  • Two years specialized experience working in a HR environment.
  • Prior experience working in a Federal HR operations office.
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and technology-based collaboration tools (e.g., WebEx, SLACK, MS Teams, SharePoint, Box).
  • Proficiency to perform assigned work in both an automated and non-automated state.
  • Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status or obtain an approved accommodation request (as required by law) within 30 days of employment.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Associates Degree desired.
  • Knowledge of OPM Federal Qualifications Standards.
  • Experience using productivity management tools to manage and complete work.
  • Experience supporting system enhancement efforts associated with assigned work area.
