GKG is seeking a Project Director to join our team in the coming months.  We expect award on this position in the September timeframe.


  • Provides overall management of performance of advisory administrative, and management support services, and recruitment, recognition, and retention.
  • Supervises performance of project and, if any, sub-contractor staff, including senior project managers and task leads.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact, with support of the Deputy Project Director, for the Government on the execution of services under the Task Order.
  • Management of and quality assurance for the submission of reports and deliverables; management of subcontracting, procurement, and purchasing, and the compliance with Federal and Agency laws, regulations and policies.
  • Oversight of the distribution of project guidance and communications, project operations, and staffing logistics.
  • Collaborates and communicates with the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) in carrying out project activities.
  • Oversees and manages transition in and out activities


  • Highly skilled manager possessing a minimum of 15 years of demonstrated progressive experience directly related to human resources (HR) transformation and human capital management and delivery services, project design and implementation for large-scale organizations;
  • Out of the above 15 years, must have at least five years of demonstrated experience with change management strategy design and plan implementation, related to human resources;
  • Demonstrated experience managing contracts and large-scale HR transformation projects for federal or commercial clients;
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in understanding client needs, developing appropriate solutions, supervising diverse teams and managing complicated projects; and
  • Experience in strategic planning; budgeting; monitoring and evaluating project activities; collaborating with stakeholders at different levels of an organization, learning, and adapting to continuous change.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in areas such as management, project management, HR or related fields such as public administration, organizational development, business or other related fields.
