Overview

GKG is seeking a National Engagement Strategic SME to join our Army Reserve team.

Responsibilities

National Engagement (NE) Strategic Subject Matter Expert (SSME). The contractor shall provide NE-SSME expertise to assist the government in teaming with industry and academia in the U.S. that result in workforce development and training services that match businesses with USAR job-seekers that have the skills they require. Contractor assists the government in maintaining active communication, interface, and coordination with employers to assist in their recruitment efforts by providing qualified USAR Soldiers, Veterans, and dependents. Assist the government in identifying opportunities with private, public, academia, and governmental sectors and lead to Soldier interview, employment, and or certification. Monthly reports must identify the jobs, referrals, interviews and matches for private, public, academia, and governmental sectors, and submitted monthly to the COR on the 5th of the following month.

  • Public Affairs or Communication. Should demonstrate basic familiarity with the operations and functions of the
  • USAR. This contractor shall be required to prepare briefings for senior leadership. Contractor shall work from the
  • Office of Chief of Army Reserve (OCAR) at Fort Belvoir, VA.  
  • Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status or obtain an approved accommodation request (as required by law) within 30 days of employment.
