Responsible for quality delivery of Human Resources, Leadership and Talent Development, and Compensation & Benefits program services within an enterprise-wide Human Resources program in a classified environment to multiple clients and consultants.
Position supports the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Administrative Investigation program providing program management and investigator support to the Office of Human Capital Services’ (OCHS) Department of Commerce Administrative Order (DAO) 202-955 Program Management Office (PMO). The ‘955 Program’ performs intake, triage, and coordination of inquiries into allegations of workplace misconduct occurring in any NOAA office. PMO is additionally responsible for all content management and record keeping of official records, collecting, analyzing, and reporting performance and throughput data, performing quality management activities, and supporting OCHS and other NOAA stakeholders report and promote the program.

The HR Specialist will provide the processing of employee benefits forms such as health insurance, life insurance, and Thrift Savings Plan.
The Senior HR Specialist applies advanced skills and experience in coding and processing a full range of Federal Personnel Actions necessary to appoint, separate, or make other personnel changes. This includes processing personnel actions related to the Federal Employees Lifecycle from acquisition to retirement. Must demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the personnel data rules and regulations in addition to technology. Able to meet requirements for a Public Trust clearance upon hire.
